Brewing Steps
  1. 1. Bloom with 40g water for 30 seconds (wet all grounds, give a gentle stir at 10–15s)
  2. 2. Pour to 240g total by 0:50 (after bloom pour remaining 200g in a slow, steady spiral to saturate evenly; give one gentle stir to even bed)
  3. 3. Close lid and keep switch in 'closed/immersion' position; steep until 2:15, then open switch to begin drawdown (allow ~20–30s drawdown).
  4. 4. Total time ~2:30–3:00. When drawdown finishes, remove brewer, swirl cup lightly and serve immediately.

  • 💡 Consistent, even pouring and a single gentle stir after filling will prevent dry pockets and channeling—freshly ground coffee and correct water temp are key.
Troubleshooting

Sour → underextracted: grind finer by 2–4 clicks, increase steep by 15–30s, or raise water temp to 95°C. Bitter → overextracted: grind coarser by 2–4 clicks, shorten steep by 15–30s, or lower temp to 91–92°C.
