Colombia: Santa Monica Geisha Washed

Our first washed Gesha in the calendar. The variety that helped specialty coffee explode bringing it to what it is today.  This might not be the most exciting coffee in the calendar on a processing level, but it's hard to drink this coffee and not appreciate its incredible delicacy and fruit forward characteristics, this coffee feels and tastes premium, a class above all the rest of the coffees in the calendar, which is easier said than done.  Enjoy this coffee with the knowledge that it made the specialty coffee industry, what it is today.
