This farmer cooperative started in 2007 and today has 3,000 contributing members, over 1,000 of whom are women, which is a notable figure in an agricultural sector that has historically been predominantly male-owned. Dusangirijambo was formed with the purpose of promoting and developing the farming community. Since its conception, Dusangirijambo has built washing stations closer to farmers, helped increase yields through agricultural inputs, and improved farmer income through direct coffee market connections. One of these connections, and our way of finding this coffee, is through the Migoti Coffee Company. Migoti Coffee Company was founded by two Burundian engineers, Dan and Pontien, in 2015. T
