Explosion of lemon blackberry fruits with a buttery mouthfeel. --- Cultivated in small coffee gardens around Mount Kenya, this origin represents everything we love about Kenyan coffees. Over 600 smallholder farmers deliver their hand-picked cherries to Gatomboya Factory, a washing station run by the Barichu Farmers Cooperative Society. Named after the local water source, Gatomboya Factory is a washing station set around 120 km from Nairobi, on the rich volcanic soils of Mount Kenya. It is run by the Barichu Farmers Cooperative Society, who offers its members access to funds from the previous year's harvest to provide pre-financing for school fees, improve operations, and emergency needs. Over 600 local members provide the station with hand-picked cherries cultivated in small coffee gardens (average less than 1 hectare). The results of this careful selection are juicy lemon, blackberry and butter. --- Suggested Recipe ~~~ In: 22g Out: 46g Time: 33sec Temp: 94°C ===
