Hario Switch
if sour: make finer (reduce 2–4 clicks), raise temp 2°C or lengthen steep 15–30s; if bitter: make coarser (increase 2–4 clicks), lower temp 2–4°C or shorten steep 15–30s
Brewing Steps
- 1. Bloom with 40g water for 30 seconds
- 2. Pour to 225g by 0:45 (steady, even pour to fully saturate grounds)
- 3. At 2:00 open the Hario Switch to drain; allow to finish draining (~20–30s) and give a gentle swirl in the carafe if needed
- 4. Total time ~2:30–2:45 (2:00 immersion + drain). Serve immediately.
