We’ve partnered with Village Coffee Goods to source an intentional, impactful coffee available for brew in-store and as a refillable option. This lot comes from core members of the Café Colis Resistencia in Mataquescuintla, Guatemala. It’s a field blend of Pache San Ramón, Catui, and Anacafé 14, grown at altitudes of 1700-1900 MASL. Chosen for its balance and approachability, this coffee appeals to both black coffee drinkers and those who prefer milk and sugar. Tasting notes include milk chocolate, nougat, and sweet plum and raisin.This partnership with Village is about more than just great coffee; it’s about building community and sustainability. The coffee comes from members of Café Colis Resistencia, who have been organizing a protest against the Canadian-owned Escobal silver mine. The mine was constructed without the consent or approval of the Indigenous Xinka people who inhabit the land.
