Carlos Guamanga Pink Bourbon

Carlos is back! We enjoyed his Caturra lot so much we had to showcase his take on one of our favourite varietals. Carlos processes his coffees the same way, allowing for the variety to do the talking and highlighting the difference that the unique terroir that he has been able to develop on his farm, has on the final crop.  This 100% Pink Bourbon lot is grown on his farm, ‘Finca El Recuerdo’ in the Hulia department of Colombia. 12 years ago Carlos and his wife, Pato, bought Finca El Recuerdo in an effort to search for better career opportunities for their growing family. Fast forward to the present day and the farm has become a hub for innovation, experimentation and a way to show that sustainable and responsible farming is not only possible in the coffee industry but a way to give back to the land that they are blessed to be able to use. Both Carlos and Pato pride themselves on the work they do and it is clear that pride is carried into the final cup.  We hope you enjoy this coffee an
