This coffee is a washed gesha through and through: floral, citrusy, and tea-like in all the best ways. We’ve been working with Mastercol (an exporter in Colombia) for the past three years, and each season our relationship has grown stronger. Last year we brought in a larger gesha blend from Huila, but this year we wanted to go deeper. So we cupped every individual lot, and these two (Juliana’s and Hernan’s) completely wowed us! Their coffees shared a beautiful clarity and elegance, so we decided to blend them into one mighty lot! It’s layered, expressive, and a true showcase of what makes washed Colombian geshas so beloved.
