Nectarine, Pear, Earl Grey Country: Colombia Region: Armenia, Quindio Process: Washed Variety: Gesha Elevation: 1450-1500 masl This coffee was grown by Luz Helena Salazar at the farm La Leona.This coffee is harvested following strict ripeness criteria, floated andhand-sorted to remove any defects. Cherries were then exposed to 30hours of underwater fermentation before being pulped. The parchmentwas then gently washed and then dried in temperature controlledconditions until ideal moisture content was achieved.This microlot is 100% Gesha. This varietal was first discovered inAbyssinia, Ethiopia in 1931. Gesha was planted in Panama for the firsttime in 1963 and in Colombia in 2005.
