Founded in 2017 by Beathe Nyirankunzurwanda, the station began with only the most basic equipment and produced just one container of cherries in its first year. With ambition and a sharp learning curve, Beathe quickly expanded operations, producing over three containers by the very next season. Together with her son, Beathe has steadily reinvested in Mushaka, growing it into a respected producer of specialty coffee. Today, the wetmill partners with local farmers to deliver high-quality, fully washed lots that highlight the clarity and brightness Rwanda is known for.
