Mr. Mengeche Derso cultivates exceptional coffee on his 15 - hectare farm in the highlands of Yirgachefe, Gedeo—an area celebrated for its vibrant and complex cup profiles. At 62 years old, he brings a lifetime of farming experience to his work, supported by four of his twelve children. His approach to farming is rooted in sustainability, using natural fertilizers to nourish the soil and preserve the land. Grown at 2300 meters above sea level, his coffees reflect the clarity and elevation of their origin.
