We Taste: Blueberry, Mandarin, Apricot The Aricha Washing Station is situated just a few kilometers from the town of Yirgacheffe, surrounded by coffee-growing communities including Aricha, Reko, Gersi, Naga Singage, and Idido. Despite its ideal location, the station was left unused until Faysel Abdosh Yonis came into the picture. Coming from a family of coffee growers, Faysel grew up buying high-quality lots and selling them to exporters. In 2009, he founded Testi Coffee to export his own coffee, and then went on to set up his first washing station in Guji. Recognising the potential of the surrounding communities and the need for proper processing infrastructure, he seized the opportunity when the Aricha site went up for sale.
