Mwendiwega is an estate and washing station (where the coffee is processed) near the town of Karugoya, in the Kibingo district in Kenyas central Valley. The facility manages an annual average production of approximately 11,000kg of coffee. This coffee is made up of both their own coffee, and surrounding smaller farms that would otherwise be unable to sell in their smaller quantities. The red volcanic soil provides the perfect growing conditions for the production of SL-28, Ruiru 11, and Batian varieties. It's not unusual to see corn and bananas planted amongst the coffee trees!
