Favor Ninco has been around coffee his entire life. He grew up in a traditional coffee farming family in the south of Colombia and always dreamed of owning his own land. Twenty-five years ago, with enough savings behind him, he bought a small property in Santa María, Huila. He named it Finca Costa Rica, and it has been his family’s home and sole livelihood ever since. Favor runs the farm with his wife Andrea, who is responsible for drying the parchment coffee and preparing meals for their workers during the harvest.
