It’s known for its floral and fruity flavour—bright, expressive, and a little different. Because the cherries ripen to a soft orange colour, it can be tricky for pickers to spot when they’re perfectly ripe. It’s a small challenge, but one that adds to the story behind this limited micro-release. El Suspiro is the farm run by Alejandro and his wife, Maria Ligia Mierisch, part of the well-known Mierisch family. The farm’s first harvest often falls on Christmas Day. While Maria stays home with the kids, Alejandro heads out to the fields—making coffee part of their holiday rhythm.
