Specializing solely in coffee cultivation, Mtaro Estate benefits from deep, red-brown Kikuyu loam soils with high water and nutrient retention—ideal for growing clean,bold, and high-quality beans. To maintain both quality and productivity, Mtaro follows a five-year conversion cycle, which promotes higher yields and greater disease resistance. Practices suchas pruning, mulching, and timely weeding support the sustainability ofits 350–400-tonne annual production.
