What a lovely and unique lot from Wilson Alba this year. Very rarely do we get to experience Pacamara done so well. It's a volatile and finnicky variety, but when it's good, it's very good. This one hits the mark with a complex and layered acidity ranging from ruby beets to green apples. There is a berry tart aspect ushered in with a thrush of sweet silky florals. This Pacamara is a very unique character all it's own, with a botanical complexity and a delicate citric structure. Pacamara is a hybrid variety of Pacas and Maragogipe. Maragogipe produces a big seed, thus Pacamara gained those bulky cherry genetics. This variety came out of El Salvador, it is seldom see grown elsewhere.
