Blanca Herrera and her husband Filiberto Dominguez worked hard for many years to finally purchase their own plot of land. They immediately planted coffee trees, and have been working and maintaining the farm themselves ever since. Blanca says that working on the farm together with her husband has given her more satisfaction with what the land has given her. El Coyego is producing wonderfully clean and expressive coffee, giving a classic washed profile from the famous Huehuetenango region of Guatemala.
