Founded in 1887, Fazenda Rio Verde began with a wedding. Antonio Fachardo Junqueira and Gabriella Augusta inherited the farm as part of their wedding gift, and their family has spent generations cultivating, innovating, and caring for the land ever since.  Located in the heart of the Mantiqueira Mountains, Fazenda Rio Verde is now part of the Ipanema Agrícola group—a Brazilian export company that also owns three farms. Rio Verde is the oldest of the company’s farms as well as its flagship.
